Hi! I'm Yurii, founder of TapMap: a social network where the map is the feed. Places, today's events, your own maps and friends nearby, so you can pick where to go right now, and with whom.
The journey
· LaunchedMap apps tell you what is nearby, but not what is worth choosing right now, or who you could go with. Every social network is a feed, but life isn't, it happens in places. So our team built TapMap: a social network where the map is the feed. You open it and see your city as it is right now: places worth going to, events happening today, and friends who chose to share where they are. We started with Thailand, and more countries are next.
Advice to founders
Build the thing you want to open yourself on a Friday night, then ask people what would make them open it too.
Dreams & what's next
One map, in every country, where anyone can see where to go tonight and which friends are out nearby, with maps and map styles made by people themselves.
