## About AuraUI

AuraUI is design context infrastructure for AI coding agents. It helps developers, designers, and product teams move beyond generic AI-generated interfaces by giving agents a clear visual point of view before implementation begins.

The project combines two complementary layers of design intelligence. Design MD is a growing library of downloadable Markdown-based visual systems. Each system translates an aesthetic direction into practical guidance covering design principles, color, typography, spacing, components, and repeatable interface patterns. Live HTML previews let users inspect the visual result before adding the corresponding [design.md](http://design.md) file to an agent’s project context.

Design Skills is a curated directory of open workflows for interface design, branding, design systems, accessibility, motion, prototyping, and design engineering. AuraUI helps users understand what each skill does, when it is useful, how to apply it, and where to find the original source. An editorial journal adds practical guides, comparisons, and selection advice for people working with tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Windsurf, Cline, and Roo Code.

AuraUI is model-agnostic and designed to work anywhere an AI agent can read project context. Browsing the library, opening previews, downloading Design MD files, exploring Design Skills, and reading articles are all publicly accessible without an account.

Unlike a traditional inspiration gallery, AuraUI connects visual reference with executable direction. Its purpose is to make design intent explicit, portable, and reviewable, so AI-assisted teams can build interfaces that feel coherent, distinctive, and deliberate from the first prompt through the final product.
