I Hate Converter is a free, privacy-first file converter that processes your files locally in your browser without uploads, accounts, or watermarks.
Most online file converters work the same way:
Upload your file → send it to somebody else's server → wait → download the converted version.
I Hate Converter was built around a different idea.
What if the converter simply ran on your own device?
I Hate Converter is a privacy-first collection of browser-based file tools covering images, PDFs, archives, structured data, documents, spreadsheets, e-books, vectors, fonts, audio and video.
Supported conversions run locally in the browser using technologies such as browser APIs, canvas, local JavaScript libraries and WebAssembly.
That means your source files don't need to be uploaded to a remote conversion server.
The experience is intentionally simple:
Choose what you're converting.
Select your file.
Adjust the available settings.
Convert locally.
Download the result.
There are no accounts required, no watermarks and no daily conversion quota.
I Hate Converter currently includes 100+ conversion tools ranging from common workflows such as PNG → JPG, JPG → WEBP and Merge PDF to developer-focused utilities such as CSV → JSON, JSON → YAML and XML → JSON, alongside document, archive, audio and video conversion tools.
The goal is simple:
Make file conversion fast, useful and private without forcing people to hand their files to a server.
