What is Lizard?

Lizard is a modern cloud platform that makes deploying applications much simpler. It is built for developers, startups, and increasingly for AI coding agents that need a fast way to take code and turn it into a live application.

Instead of spending time configuring servers, Docker, deployment pipelines, databases, and other infrastructure, Lizard handles much of the process automatically. You can deploy an application directly from your code and let the platform detect the technology, build the project, and run it in the cloud.

Lizard supports a wide range of programming languages and frameworks, making it suitable for everything from small side projects to larger production applications. Developers can deploy web apps, APIs, background services, and other workloads while managing environment variables, logs, domains, and deployments from one platform.

A key part of Lizard is its focus on the growing world of AI-assisted development. AI coding tools can generate applications quickly, but deploying and managing them can still require technical infrastructure knowledge. Lizard aims to close that gap by providing tools and workflows that are easier for both developers and AI agents to use.

The platform also provides managed services such as databases and storage, allowing users to build and run an entire application stack without setting up multiple cloud providers. With usage-based pricing and a developer-friendly workflow, Lizard can be a useful option for indie hackers, startups, developers, and teams looking for a simpler alternative to managing their own infrastructure.
