Rapunzl gives schools a standards-aligned personal finance curriculum for grades 6-12 — scaling from a 3-week unit to a 28-week, year-long course, in English and Spanish — paired with a real-time investing simulator where students build and manage a simulated $10,000 stock and crypto portfolio using live Nasdaq pricing. Teachers get a dashboard with grade export and standards crosswalks aligned to the Council for Economic Education, and students can enter a free national scholarship competition each spring.

Across Rapunzl's programs, students' financial literacy scores rise from 34% before the program to 93% after — 26 to 29 points above the national average — and Rapunzl has reached more than 100,000 students since 2018. Founded in Chicago in 2018 by Brian Curcio and Myles Gage (Forbes 30 Under 30, 2023); winner of the 2022 Yass Prize.

Rapunzl is an alternative to EVERFI, NGPF, and the Stock Market Game — a standards-aligned financial literacy curriculum paired with a real-time investing simulator, in English and Spanish.
