Sweepbase is an independent comparison engine for crypto debit and credit cards. Choosing a crypto card is harder than it should be. Every issuer advertises the same headline cashback number and the same promise to let you spend your crypto anywhere, but the details that actually cost you money are buried in help-center pages and terms documents: foreign exchange spreads, ATM withdrawal fees, top-up charges, monthly account costs, and staking lock-ups. Sweepbase exists to pull those details into one place so you can see them clearly before you apply for anything.
We track 141 crypto cards across every major region: the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada, Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East. For each card we record the network (Visa or Mastercard), whether it is custodial or self-custody, the supported blockchains and stablecoins, KYC requirements, issuance and monthly fees, FX markup, the real cashback structure, and any yield or staking mechanics. Everything is normalized so you can compare two cards side by side without translating one issuer's marketing language into another's.
The core of the site is a filterable catalog. You can narrow the list to no-KYC cards, virtual-only cards, metal premium tiers, self-custody options such as Gnosis Pay or Ether.fi Cash, cards that work with Apple Pay and Google Pay, or cards aimed at travelers who want low foreign-transaction costs. Each card has a detail page with a plain-language breakdown of its real costs, honest pros and cons, and a rating that is not bent by whether we happen to earn a referral fee from the issuer.
Beyond the catalog, Sweepbase publishes region-specific buying guides for the USA, UK, Germany, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico, explainer articles on how crypto card fees actually work, in-depth reviews of the largest products like the Crypto.com, Coinbase, and Binance cards, and original research, including an analysis of BIN-sponsor concentration across the industry that shows how few banks actually underwrite the entire crypto-card market today.
We do not require an account, we do not paywall the comparison data, and we update the dataset continuously as issuers change their terms or close products down. The goal is simple: help people choose a crypto card based on what it really costs and how it really works, rather than on whichever issuer happens to have the loudest marketing. If you are deciding between cards, start with the full comparison catalog and filter down to the features that matter for how you actually spend. The comparison is completely free to use.
