It fixes one specific problem: Todoist flattens sub-tasks in the Today, Upcoming, Filter, and Label views, so a sub-task shows up without its parent and without the rest of its tree. Todowing nests sub-tasks back under their parents inline in those views and on every board. It is built for Todoist users who break work into sub-tasks and lose track of them in date-based views. It works on any Todoist plan, with no Pro subscription needed, in the Todoist web app on Chrome. It does not run in the Todoist desktop app. If you want an app-style window, install Todoist as a Chrome app window and the extension works there. The free version includes inline sub-task trees with completing, collapsing, and recurring resets, and each row shows its due date, priority, and labels. You get up to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task, seven color palettes, and a text-size slider from 85% to 200%. No account is required. The paid unlock adds unlimited sub-task rows, plus adding, renaming, and reordering sub-tasks from the row. A hide-done toggle keeps finished parents visible while they still have open work.
