What we are launching
A tours and activities API. One REST integration, with an OpenAPI spec, to a catalog of more than 1,000,000 activities from multiple providers, across thousands of cities, with content in 11 languages. Search, check real-time availability and pricing, hold, and confirm: the full path from discovery to booking.
An AI agent you can build into your product. A conversational assistant that searches the catalog, checks live prices and time slots, and takes the traveler to checkout. It can live on your homepage, in your app or inside your support chat, with your brand and your agreed pricing. You can watch it work at tourscanner.ai: the API calls appear in real time next to the conversation.
A remote MCP server. Twelve tools that let any MCP-compatible assistant search the catalog, check live availability and prepare the checkout. That includes assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, and agents built by other companies.
Built-in checkout. Payments run through Stripe with manual capture. The traveler's card is authorized when the booking is held and charged only when it is confirmed. If the supplier rejects the booking, the customer is not charged. Vouchers and ticket links are returned as soon as the supplier issues them.
What you can sell
Tickets and attractions: entry tickets and experiences at more than 10,000 attractions.
Tours and activities: city tours, day trips, food experiences, outdoor adventures and more.
Shore excursions: for cruise passengers.
Airport and hotel transfers: so a trip can be arranged from arrival to first activity.
Availability varies by destination and port, so we confirm coverage for each partner.
Three ways to put it to work
1. Build the agent into your product
Give your visitors a conversational way to find and book activities inside your own product. They describe what they want, such as "something for two adults on Saturday morning", and the agent answers with options that are actually bookable. As far as public information shows, the AI assistants from the large travel brands live on their own platforms and send travelers to their own checkout. This one is built to run in yours.
2. Connect it to AI assistants
Because the MCP server uses an open standard, MCP-compatible assistants can reach the TourScanner catalog with an API key from us, and other companies' AI agents can connect to it and run the same searches we do. If your company is building its own assistant, TourScanner can be the tours and activities layer underneath it, without a custom connector for every provider.
3. Add activities to your checkout
This is different from adding an agent. A checkout upsell uses the API directly to show a relevant offer inside the purchase flow you already run: on the review step, the confirmation page or the pre-trip email. You already know the destination, the dates and the party size, so there is nothing for the traveler to type. It reaches every buyer, not only those who open a chat. For airlines, hotels, OTAs, car rental, rail and cruise sellers, it is often the quickest route to new revenue.
