WorDungeon is a solo roguelike inspired by Wordle, free in the browser at wordungeon.com with no account needed. Every floor of the dungeon is a boss, and every boss is a word puzzle with its own rule. Bosses have no health bar: guess the word and the boss is beaten

A run always starts on floor one with three lives. Run out of guesses or time and you lose a life, then the boss picks a new word and the fight restarts. When the lives are gone the run ends and shows the floor you reached and your points

Floor one is plain Wordle. Floor two is a duel against a bot on one shared board, taking turns with 45 seconds a move. Later floors keep changing the rules: words of four, six or seven letters, two words at once, timed fights, riddles about a word's meaning, example sentences with a gap, sealed letters, ice that freezes the letters of your last guess for a turn, and a hidden word length

After every win you pick one relic out of three, and they stack without a limit. Relics add a guess to every fight, add a life, reveal a letter in its place, show the vowels, tell you whether the word repeats letters, add 15 seconds to every timer, and one rare relic skips a floor. Hints are charges you spend whenever you like

The browser version has 200 bosses, each with its own pixel monster. After the 200th boss they cycle back from the start while the words keep getting rarer until you lose. A floor is worth up to 100 points, with bonuses for speed and for using fewer guesses

The game keeps two records, deepest floor and points, on a shared leaderboard where the server checks every result. You can share a result as an image, and the bestiary keeps a card for every monster you have met

The look is 16-bit pixel art with dark stone and torches. Words are English and the interface comes in 100 languages. An iPhone app exists too
