Xsilent is a privacy-first Android vault built for people who want to protect selected photos, videos and PDF documents locally on their device without relying on accounts, advertising or automatic cloud storage.
The app uses authenticated AES-GCM encryption to protect private content and is designed around local control. Files stay on the user's device unless the user explicitly chooses to export or back them up.
One of Xsilent's key features is Dynamic Decoy. Users can configure a separate Decoy PIN that opens a different vault space, while the main private vault remains hidden behind the primary PIN. This is useful when someone needs to unlock the app without revealing their real private content.
Xsilent also includes Clean Share, which helps users prepare safer copies before sending files to other people or apps. Clean Share can blur detected faces, apply manual blur to sensitive areas, remove metadata and optionally add a watermark.
Other features include encrypted Trash, private PDF viewing without relying on a browser-based viewer, Quick Lock, configurable auto-lock, biometric unlock and encrypted backup and restore.
Xsilent is designed for users who value privacy, local-first storage and clear ownership of their files. It can be useful for personal photos, sensitive screenshots, confidential documents, private videos and PDFs that should not be exposed through ordinary gallery or file apps.
The app is available for Android as a paid application with a one-time purchase. There are no recurring subscriptions, no ads and no mandatory account creation. The goal is simple: provide a private, practical and predictable vault experience while keeping user data under local control.
