7items is a tech gadget blog for buying decisions. It separates the features that count from the ones that don't, and tells you which product to get.

Posts are grouped into six categories: monitors, keyboards, mice, phones, 3D printing and RC cars. You will find head-to-head comparisons of close rivals, buying roundups at a set budget, and deep dives into the one spec that decides a purchase, from switch wobble and sensor polling rates to dimming zones, filament heat limits and crawler drivetrains.

Numbers come before opinions. Where a post makes a performance claim, it states the figure and the conditions it was measured under. Nothing on the site is paid for by the thing being reviewed. A free weekly newsletter sends the week's posts and corrections, with one-click unsubscribe.

Made for PC gamers, desk setup builders, keyboard enthusiasts, 3D printing hobbyists, RC hobbyists and phone buyers who want the deciding numbers before they spend money. It is best for shoppers comparing close products who want to know which spec matters. Typical uses are choosing between two or three close gadgets before buying, and finding the best monitor, keyboard, mouse or phone at a set budget.

It is not a shop and does not sell anything: 7items is a free blog. It is free to read and works in any web browser.
