Every result has keyboard actions, and nothing leaves your Mac.

Results as you type: the first keystroke answers in under 10 ms on a Mac with six million files, and each letter after that narrows what the last one found instead of starting again.

Quick to set up: it catalogues six million files in about 31 seconds, and you can start searching before it finishes. Six million files fit in about 308 MB.

Search syntax when you want it: plain typing finds things by name. A few short words narrow it down, such as ext:pdf for a file type, size:>100mb, path:Downloads, a vertical bar for either, and an exclamation mark for not. The app suggests them as you type, so there is nothing to memorise.

Keyboard first: press Option-Space to open it from anywhere, over any app, even full screen. Move through the results with the arrow keys, press Return to open, Command-Return to reveal in Finder, Space for Quick Look, copy the full path, or move a file to the Trash. Press Escape and you are back where you were.

Works offline: it works with Wi-Fi off, and nothing leaves your Mac.
