Klinky is an A/B testing link shortener built for controlled rollouts.
The core idea: one short link routes visitors to two destinations at weights you choose. Send most visitors to your current page or workflow, and a smaller share to the new version you want to try. You get real-world data on the change without betting the whole audience on it.
How it works: you create a Klinky link, set the current destination and the new destination, and pick a traffic split (for example 80/20). Every click on that link is routed at the edge in milliseconds and recorded. You watch the split results come in, adjust the weights at any time, or point 100% at the winner - the link itself never changes, so anything you have already shared keeps working.
What it is for: trying a new landing page against the current one without replacing it; sending a small share of traffic to a new checkout, signup flow, or no-code workflow; comparing pricing or offer pages with real visitors; campaign links where the destination may need to change after the link is already distributed (ads, newsletters, QR codes, packaging); and gradual rollouts, starting at 95/5, shifting to 50/50, then 0/100 when the new page proves itself.
What it deliberately is not: a full A/B testing platform. There is no JavaScript snippet to install on your site, no visual editor, no experiment quota, and no six-figure enterprise contract. Klinky sits one level lower, at the link itself - which means it works with any stack, any site builder, and any analytics setup you already use. Results are visible in Klinky's real-time click analytics, and you can compare conversions in your existing analytics, CRM, or checkout logs.
Technical notes: redirects run on Cloudflare's edge network for sub-5ms response times globally. Click events are recorded with timestamp, geography, device, and referrer. Links support weighted routing, editable destinations, and per-link analytics. A REST API is available for programmatic link management.
Klinky is a bootstrapped product based in Norway. It is free while it is early - no credit card required. Paid plans will add custom domains, higher link and click volumes, and team features.
Setup takes under a minute: create a link, set two destinations, choose the split, and share the link. Klinky is built for marketers, founders, and small teams who find full-featured A/B testing platforms too heavy. No JavaScript snippet on your site, no visual editor, no monthly experiment quota - just a link that splits traffic and reports what happened.
