Launchdog

Launchdog is a weekly product launch board, and a Product Hunt alternative, built for makers who work with AI coding agents. Instead of filling in another long launch form on every directory, you connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or ChatGPT to Launchdog over MCP and ask your agent to launch. It reads your site, drafts the listing, picks an open launch week and books it. You review the draft and you're done.

How it works

Getting started takes one command:

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http launchdog https://launchdog.dev/mcp

Then ask your agent to launch your product on Launchdog. The MCP server exposes a small set of tools: whoami, update_product, list_launch_weeks, schedule_launch and get_badge_snippet. Your agent can check who it is signed in as, update your product details, see which weeks still have open spots, schedule the launch and grab the badge code for your site. For other agents and crawlers there is also a public MCP endpoint, an llms.txt file and a JSON feed of launches.

Ranking

Each week has 50 launch spots. Launches are ranked only by votes from real, signed-in people, so the board rewards products that makers actually want to use rather than whoever brings the biggest audience.

Pricing

Free launches can be booked from 7 days out when you add the Launchdog badge to your site. A paid launch skips the queue. Every launch gets a permanent product page.
