Looona

Looona is a lightweight feedback dispatcher built for developers, indie hackers, startups and small teams who want a simpler way to collect, organize and process user feedback.

The project was born from a recurring frustration experienced while building side projects and internal tools. At the end of development, collecting user feedback often becomes more difficult than expected. Existing solutions are either too limited for real workflows or too complex for smaller teams that simply want a fast and efficient way to receive actionable feedback.

Another issue is that many feedback platforms introduce an entirely new tool, dashboard and workflow that teams have to learn and maintain. In practice, this often creates additional friction instead of simplifying the feedback process.

Looona takes a different approach.

Instead of replacing existing workflows, Looona acts as a transparent layer between users and the tools teams already use every day. Feedback is centralized, organized and automatically dispatched to platforms such as Slack, GitHub, Jira or Discord. The goal is not to create another platform that constantly needs attention, but rather a system that quietly integrates into the workflow that already exists.

Once configured, Looona is designed to require very little maintenance. Teams can continue working inside their favorite tools while still receiving structured and actionable feedback from users.

Key features include:

• Centralized user feedback collection

• Dispatch feedback directly to Slack, GitHub, Jira and Discord

• Lightweight and developer-friendly workflow

• Self-hosted deployment for maximum control and flexibility

• Hosted cloud version for quick setup and simplicity

• Transparent workflow with minimal maintenance

• Easy integration through a simple executable setup

• Customizable feedback templates and integrations

Looona is intentionally focused on feedback workflows rather than analytics or monitoring. The objective is to help developers and teams better understand user issues, suggestions and product friction without adding another heavy platform to their stack.

For teams handling sensitive or internal projects, Looona also supports self-hosting. This gives developers full ownership of their infrastructure, integrations and data while maintaining a simple deployment experience. For teams that prefer simplicity, a hosted version is also available.

The project is also designed with flexibility in mind. Developers can integrate Looona into existing products with minimal setup and adapt workflows depending on their team structure, communication tools and feedback management process.

The long-term vision for Looona is to remain lightweight, transparent and developer-friendly. The project is also expected to progressively move toward open-source in order to provide even more transparency and flexibility for developers and companies using it.

Ultimately, Looona is designed around a simple idea:
configure it once, then let feedback naturally flow into the tools your team already uses.
