SavedVids is a web-based media downloader and cloud upload platform designed to simplify the way people save and manage online videos.

Instead of downloading files to a computer and uploading them manually afterward, SavedVids streamlines the entire workflow. Users can retrieve media from supported websites, choose their preferred quality, and save it directly to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, or FTP servers.

The project was built around a simple idea: downloading media should be part of a complete workflow—not an isolated task.

Unlike many traditional download tools that stop once a file reaches your computer, SavedVids focuses on what happens next: organizing, storing, and managing your media in the cloud. This makes it especially useful for creators, educators, researchers, students, remote workers, and anyone who regularly builds a digital media library.

Why SavedVids?

As cloud storage becomes an essential part of everyday workflows, many users no longer want to download large files to their computers before moving them elsewhere.

The traditional workflow usually looks like this:

Download → Save to Computer → Upload to Cloud → Delete Local Copy

While this works, it requires extra time, storage space, and manual effort.

SavedVids simplifies this process by integrating cloud storage directly into the download workflow. Whether you're downloading a single video, an entire YouTube playlist, or hundreds of YouTube links in bulk, your files can be transferred directly to your preferred cloud storage with minimal manual work.

Built for Modern Workflows

SavedVids is designed for people who regularly work with online media.

Whether you're archiving educational content, collecting research materials, organizing project assets, preserving travel videos, or managing client resources, the platform helps reduce repetitive tasks and create a faster, cloud-first workflow.

Development is ongoing, with continuous improvements in performance, workflow automation, cloud integrations, and download capabilities. The long-term vision is to build a comprehensive media management platform that helps users spend less time moving files and more time using them.
