VM Hunter is an AI answering machine detection (AMD) service built for outbound call centers and voice AI teams. Traditional AMD guesses from tone and silence timing. VM Hunter transcribes the first two seconds after answer and decides from what is actually said, so it recognises carrier voicemail prompts, personal greetings, IVRs, disconnected-number tones, and iPhone and Google call screening.
Your dialer streams the callee's audio over a WebSocket and gets a verdict back about two seconds after answer: HUMAN or MACHINE, with a reason. Agents stop sitting through voicemail greetings, and fewer live answers are dropped.
Every call is logged in the portal with its transcript, result and a short audio sample, so you can audit any decision. You control recordings: delete them or switch storage off.
Clients are available for VICIdial/Asterisk and FreeSWITCH, with a Twilio bridge in beta and a documented WebSocket API for custom integrations. A free tier includes 5,000 calls a month.
